CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Litton Marine Systems (LMS), a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC), has supplied a full suite of navigation and communication electronics for the new 24.8m trawler FV Achieve at the Macduff Shipyards in Grampian, Scotland.

The new fishing trawler has been equipped with a Decca FishMaster FS flat-screen chart plotter and Decca BridgeMaster E 250 flat-screen radar, as well as a secondary radar, autopilot with watch alarm and VHF, DSC and SSB radios. The vessel was also fitted with a Fugro SeaSTAR DGPS receiver for precise positioning and navigation.

The equipment was supplied on a long-term lease-maintenance contract. The installation and commissioning were performed by Litton's sales and service depot in Buckie, Scotland.
