CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Litton Marine Systems has supplied communications and navigation electronics for a new fishing vessel built in Scotland.

The vessel, the FV Concorde, is a 21.3m wooden twin rig trawler. It was built at Macduff Shipyards on the north coast of Scotland. The vessel was completed in May, and entered service in June of 2000.

Equipment provided by Litton includes two Decca FishMaster FS flat-screen chart plotters and a Decca BridgeMaster E radar. The electronics package also included a secondary radar, gyrocompass, autopilot, echosounder and SSB, VHF and DSC radios. The vessel was also equipped with a Fugro SeaSTAR DGPS receiver for precise positioning and navigation.

The installation and commissioning were performed by Litton's sales and service office in Buckie.
