It also shows a continuous display of other relevant navigation data, and stores the last 24 hours of data, together with position information. Serial data interfaces provide output of depth data and input of time, date and position in NMEA 0183 format.

The certification signifies Sperry Marine’s program meets international requirements for electronic chart display and information system (ECDIS) training under the 1995 amendments to the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW-95) code.
