Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE:NOC) Sperry Marine business unit has signed a full production contract for the Integrated Navigation Bridge System (INBS) for the U.K. Ministry of Defence's (MoD) Queen Elizabeth Class (QEC) Aircraft Carrier Programme. The company also signed a design phase contract for the Navigation Lights, Shapes and Sounds (NLSS).

Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE:NOC) Sperry Marine business unit supplied the navigation, communication and safety systems for Royal Caribbean's newest cruise ship, Allure of the Seas, which just completed its maiden voyage from its shipyard in Finland to its home port in Port Everglades, Fla.

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has received orders to supply advanced electronic navigation systems for two new 37,000 deadweight ton (dwt) bulk carriers to be built in Korea for Italian shipowner d’Amico Dry Limited.

The orders were awarded to Northrop Grumman’s Sperry Marine business unit through Telemar, the sales and service representative for Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine products and services in Italy. Telemar will oversee the installations and provide technical support and service for the shipboard navigation systems.

Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) is upgrading the navigation radar systems for two Spanish Navy Santa Maria-Class frigates.

The ships are being fitted with Northrop Grumman’s new-generation Sperry Marine VisionMaster FT™ navalized radars, which are replacing the existing radar sets. The equipment is being supplied through Aeromarine, the sales and service representative for Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine products and systems in Spain. Aeromarine is responsible for the installations and technical support for integration with the ships’ MK-92 combat systems.
