Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) announced today that its Sperry Marine business unit has received type approval from the Hellenic Ships Inspectorate of the Department of the Ministry of Merchant Marine for the VoyageMaster Voyage Data Recorder (VDR).

Northrop Grumman Corporation’s (NYSE: NOC) Sperry Marine business unit today announced that the Maritime and Coastguard Agency has certified its navigation training center, in New Malden, United Kingdom.

The certification signifies Sperry Marine’s program meets international requirements for electronic chart display and information system (ECDIS) training under the 1995 amendments to the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW-95) code.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Litton Marine Systems has introduced a new 18-inch flat-screen Decca BridgeMaster E marine radar for the commercial fishing and workboat markets.

The new radars, along with other Litton Marine Systems products, were featured at the Fishing 2000 exhibition in Glasgow, Scotland.
