The LMX 400 from Litton Marine Systems is a type-approved marine GPS/DGPS receiver that offers an unparalleled combination of accuracy, ease of use, reliability and advanced technology.

Available in six- and twelve-channel versions, the LMX 400 provides accuracies of between one and five meters even in the most adverse conditions.

The MX 400 incorporates an integral multi-track differential beacon receiver with an H-field ferrite loop antenna that provides superior signal reception and interference rejection. The DGPS beacon antenna is contained in the same antenna radome as the GPS antenna for easy installation.

The unit's large, clear, high-resolution LCD screen makes it easy to locate the unit virtually anywhere on the bridge. The user can select outputs in nine different languages. The water-resistant case and compliance with IEC945 test specifications ensure that it is ideally suited to the marine environment.

The LMX 400 provides extensive route and waypoint management functions. The large number of NMEA output messages and ports enable the operator to ouput the selected passage plan to suitable autopilots, radars and electronic chart systems. The dual control capability allows two LMX 400 receivers to be interfaced in a full-function dual-control configuration for built-in redundancy and integrity monitoring.

The LMX 400 has been type approved by BSH in Germany.
