NAVIGAT 200 is embedded into our Heading Management System CompassNet which provides an open platform for integration of up to four compasses and one additional magnetic compass. With this approach, the system can be flexibly updated to your needs: integration of existing functional compasses and a flexible upgrade path to add sensors for improved resilience. This is combined with a wide variety of inputs and outputs that cover all interface requirements on the Navigation Bridge and additionally provides the option for integration with legacy equipment in retrofit configurations.
Our NAVIGAT 200 is a networked spinning mass gyro that delivers the industry’s highest levels of accuracy and reliability. It is quick to install and retrofit, for easy integration with third-party distribution systems, while additionally offering an upgrade path as requirements evolve. With the NAVIGAT 200 you will have a single access point for configuration and operation through NAVITWIN V Control and Display Unit (CDU), and up to 8 CDUs with CompassNet. It has the same compact size and installation footprint as legacy compasses which makes it easy and fast to install. It also has the lowest gyrosphere maintenance intervals on the market.
The NAVIGAT 200 supports SRTP configurations and is type approved to all applicable MED, IMO and IEC standards.
The NAVIGAT 200 is fully integrated into CompassNet for redundancy and maximum uptime. Its unique digital pick-up technology with low settling time makes for a reliable heading at the highest accuracy. It has well-proven technology with the longest system life and is has a simpler and safer management of all components through one common CDU as part of CompassNet. Our NAVIGAT 200 has a highly-competitive fixed-price option for system and installation by certified Sperry Marine Engineers. It is faster and easier to install, with up to 80% less cabling than comparable systems.
